Given MacDonald Highlands’s location, most amenities, such as grocery shopping, doctor’s offices, and schools, can be accessed within 20 minutes.

Moreover, there are several restaurants and shops at The District at Green Valley Ranch, which is 15 minutes away.

Residents of MacDonald Highlands who want access to the Las Vegas Strip can take the 215 Beltway. Once on the beltway, driving to The Strip takes about 25 to 30 minutes.

Nature lovers will appreciate MacDonald Highlands’s prime location near the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area and McCullough Mountain Range.

There are also three parks nearby—The East Park, The West Park, and The Linear Park.

East Park is past Stephanie Gate. It has a fitness center, a basketball court, tennis courts, and an open space for sports. The West Park is to the left after you pass inside the Valle Verde gate. It has an open space for sports, restrooms, a dog walking area, and tennis courts. Linear Park is on the right after you pass inside the Valle Verde gate. It is primarily used by dog owners and has a nice walking path and a pavilion.
