Spanish Trail is an upscale private residential community with many homes that were built in the 1980s and 1990s.

It is a guard-gated neighborhood in the southwest part of the Las Vegas area, and is in fact, one of the first guard-gated golf course communities in the city.

Spanish Trail is located in one of the nicer areas in Clark County, in our opinion.

Spanish Trail Offers Close Proximity To The Las Vegas Strip

Those who desire close proximity to the Las Vegas Strip will be happy to know that Spring Valley is only three to four miles away, meaning residents are close to world-class entertainment, restaurants, parks, and other kinds of amenities.

Spanish Trail is also not too far from the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Spanish Trail Neighborhoods and Houses

Spanish Trail comprises 11 different neighborhoods, each of which has houses of varying sizes.

Housing sizes in the community run anywhere from around 1,200 square feet at the smallest to nearly 17,000 square feet at the largest.

Meanwhile, lot sizes in Spanish Trail are substantial for the Las Vegas area and average around half-an-acre.

The community currently has over 1,200 homes.

Home prices in this community range from $250K+ to $1MM+.

Spanish Trail Country Club has operated for several years now, having opened in 1984. The atmosphere of this club is excellent and is very relaxing and welcoming.

The clubhouse has a capacity of 200 guests during dinner and 300 guests during more casual events.

Please keep in mind that residents of the community don’t get free access to the Spanish Trail Country Club, as it is a members-only club.

About The Three Spanish Trail Golf Courses

Spanish Trail Golf Course is a gorgeous 27-hole course designed by the famous Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

It has three different nines, which are:

The Sunrise Course, The Lakes Course, and The Canyon Course.

The Sunrise Course

The Sunrise Course is 3,426 yards long when measured from the Championship tees.

It has a prevalence of fairway bunkers but compensates for the difficulty with its wide fairways. It’s a fantastic course to play on and is worth trying out.

This is Spanish Trail’s most traditional course. It’s not the most difficult, but it does feature a very challenging Par 3 hole.

Recommended tee time is early in the morning so that you can benefit from the cool of the morning and play as the sun rises or the evening so as to enjoy Nevada’s iconic sunset.

The Lakes Course

The Lakes Course at Spanish Trails Golf Course features lakes and creeks and is certainly the wettest of the three courses at Spanish Trails.

6 of the 9 holes on The Lakes Course have water as a significant factor.

Our favorite hole on The Lakes Course is hole #3, which is a gorgeous Par 3 with 2 lakes, waterfalls, and a beautifully designed, well-manicured green.

The Lakes is the most difficult of Spanish Trail’s three nines.

The Canyon Course

The Canyon Course measures a whopping 3,576 yards when measured from the championship tees and is perhaps the most beloved course for those who play at Spanish Trail Golf Course.

This course has a lot of diversity, including:

A lake and waterfall on hole #2, desert landscape features, strategically placed bunkers, an elevated green, and long stretches of fairway that offer a view of the Spring Mountain Range.

Amenities At The Spanish Trail Country Club

The Spanish Trail Private Country Club features a 50,000 square foot clubhouse that acts as a community center for Members to meet, socialize, relax, and enjoy swimming, tennis, fitness, and, best of all, golf!

The Spanish Trail Clubhouse boasts a newly renovated Fitness Facility, a total of twelve lighted tennis courts, and two aquatic centers.

The clubhouse also features men’s and women’s card rooms, which are a blast when you want to play Gin Rummy, Poker, Bridge, and more.

There is plenty to do here and enough space for members to enjoy activities with friends and family.

Food At Spanish Trail Country Club
